New Job.

Hello people. Im back to this small lil space which had been left vacant.

It been almost three months since i left Keppel- my very first job changed after 2.5years since my diploma. Having been in HR field/recruitment is always what i used to be interested in. So jus as i wished, i managed to get a job in GMP. Woah! Im happy. Working on high storey- 55th level with nice scenery. I experienced having seat in a room to interview my candidates and flipping thru tonnes of resume.. However to realise i wasn’t up to it! My patience for cold calling failed me. Thus after much hesitation, i decided to leave. Yes devastated was the mood then till i found myself yet another job.

Here i am. Currently im with Canon Singapore for almost 2 months as a Sales Admin Support. Wider exposure to the outside working society. I see a darker and different side of a picture. How people deal with things at different point of time. I am growing up!! I start to learn to handle things on my own. Getting more independent and responsible with my actions. I do enjoy the young colleagues working with me. They do enlighten and bring much joy to me =)

Im left with two more days serving as a Keppelites! Just as the earth revolves round the sun, jus as the seasons come and go, people have to move on. As i mark it off the calendar.. im filled with mixed emotions. Looking back at every corner as i walked the same path to work.. it brought back wonderful memories. How beautiful Jurong can be- the yummy food i always had for lunch, the smokey loud engine sound caused by my machines, the friendly workers & delivery uncles who walk in and out of my office and how colleagues love to tease me with; “ohh im very shy”.. Words from people who care melted my heart- Simple treat and gift for me are much appreciated. I trust to hold my tears back till i step out of this comfort zone. As the saying goes “Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.”

Vesak Day, Boyfrien and i were invited to join Joleen and Ryan to V-Club (Thai Disco). That’s the place i had been curious about as friends had been telling me about it. Not fancy but i do enjoy the great companion.

Was on two days leave from work for someone special. 5th May- Organised BBQ Chalet at Downtown East Costa Sands to celebrate boyfrien’s birthdae. Close friends of his were invited and all so joyful.

Checked in at 2.30pm. We were given our room card and two free tix to Wild Wild Wet. Being the early birds, we were never too bored to entertain ourselve with… Poker Cards and Liquor!!

Then we head to E-Hub for a bowling game. Woah to our surprise, our femine Joleen is the Winner!! Continuous strike for two times while been the pathetic one.. my ball kept going down the drain. *Sobsob* Overall we had fun!!

The sky tone down and its time to set up our BBQ pit.. woolalla

ROD soon! Two more weeks as Keppelite! Will be officially starting my new job on 1st June. Met some of my new colleagues last week during the Team-Bonding session as organised over the weekend. Its nice to see many young energetic people who might motivate and creates a more lively environment to work in.

Had a good laugh this morning. Boyfrien was on the phone with me when he suddenly said: “Hey go check out STOMP. Someone posted my photo there!!”

I ended April with a wide smile!! .. Go check the figure in ur bank account. Im 600$ bucks richer with the GST refund!! Whoohaa. Im sure its all over the News on TV and papers.. time for election soon. *Polling* Im feeling all excited about it cus i simply know Nuts and it gonna be my first time getting myself involve in the voting event.

Looking at my calendar.. im counting down each day! Owell. hopefully its on a happier note, – i had resigned from my current company and im serving my notice period right now. Prolly 27th May would be my last day here working with awesome colleagues. Found a new job in a recruitment line and its so much of my interest! Shall share more soon =)

Early this month: Sponsored boyfriend for a relaxed trip to Malacca as a belated X’mas & Valentine’s gift. Wasn’t a big one, but most importantly we spared some Quality time together.

Nothing impressed me till i checked into the Resort where we gonna spend our night. Special Promo due to Newly opened Resort of 8months old. SCREAM! Excited.. the place is so much like a dreamland. It look so classic and all wooden. Travelled by Buggy everywhere we go and its 24hrs service!! ME LIKE!!!

Shared whole album of photos with colleagues and strong influence affected them.. Filled with envy, they very much wanted to visit the resort but the rates were too expensive for them to afford. Im such luckygirl =)

Peek-A-Boo!! Tadah- Hope its not too late and here a lil’ random snapshots of my trips from Phuket.

Phuket trip with the GOH family. Excited while im in the airport ready to flyyy!! A short break- Free from workload and the busy city… Loves holidaeeee!

A short flight of estimated 2hrs before we arrived at the destination. Introduce the hotel that we stayed in for 4D3N- Aspery! Satisfaction with the kind of price its worth. Good Service, Spacious and Convenient- 5min walk to Patong Beach. 10min walk to Night Market. 15min walk to Night Life street. Woohooo isn’t that awesome?!

Island hopping on the 2nd and 3rd day..

With the speedboat; I feel so energetic!! The Bright Sunshine- Bluey Sky- Clear Deep Sea- Beautiful mountains and Cave!!

Night life there was WOW! Acoholic drinks were really cheap and Thai Massage was superb Shiok. Seafood especially Tom Yum soup was soo yummy. Done my foot scrub and manicure on the last day before i depart. Woohooo…!!

and… Malacca trip was put closely right after im back from Thailand!! Shall update about it soon yeah. Stay tune!

Coming to the end of March and life seem pretty much on a brighter side.. Im back from my Phuket and Malacca Trip!! There’s dozen of photos to be uploaded and tonnes of stories to be shared. Lend me your ears and i’ll pour my excitement on you~ Now holidays over! Back to reality and the busy city of Singapore.. its time to adjust my mood back for work.

It was a firm decision made. I had officially submitted my resignation letter and im currently serving the two months notice. Drown with emotions- the mixed feelings result in many words left unsaid.. It was an impulsive act but i foresee more challenging moments coming ahead and im gotcha stay Positive! Mid week of March and im feeling superb excited. Counting down to the weekends and im gonna leave this small lil’ dot of Singapore for a short holidae to Phuket 4D3N trip and Malacca 2D1N romantic getaway!! How awesome?! Especially when they all comes with real good deal..

Been spending more time with family loves and nesting at home. Soon i needa crack my brain juice on what presents to get for Siblings kin and Daddykin. Brandon bro’s birthdae is coming up followed by Dad and Mal’s Bro. The list is not over cus Boyfriend and Bestie all falls closely one after another too!

Managed to catch two movies lately: Big Mommas & My Ex-Haunted Lover. Both film were the Top Hit in theatre.. its explain how good they’re. One Comedy that can brighten up your day while another is a Horror that break your nerves.

No doubt.. what matter most is enjoy ourselve since we’re both mentally and physically healthy. Guess by now everyone should’ve heard or seen the News on the tragedy Japan is going thru’.. the devastation result from “Earthquake, Nuclear plant, radiation threat,.. “

I deeply sympathise- Some lost their homes and love ones and i hereby hope that all can be over soon..

With another blink! Its the start of March.. As much as i wanted to spend more time with my girlfriends, im glad to be able to kick up a surprised for Juazlina on her 23rd Birthdae!

The plan went on kinda smoothly and perhaps its even better than imagine. Filled with endless laughter till the dawn.. Met up on a Saturday and its brunch for us at JP before meeting up with the rest.

Out from Club at freaking 3am and the nite did not end jus here! Drove up and chillax at Henderson Wave till it start to rain. Everything was great. The fun-the companion! Bumpy ride back home on a Sunday after lunchie with the girls at Ayer Rajah… im looking forward to more hangout!! WoohoO
